  1. DATA, PURPOSES AND LEGAL GROUNDS

Website access and security

When you visit the website, the hosting provider and WordPress may process technical data such as your IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser, operating system and error logs.

This data is used to deliver and secure the website, prevent abuse and investigate incidents. The legal ground is the association’s legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website.

Email enquiries

If you email us, we process your email address, any identity information you provide, your message and attachments in order to respond and follow up.

The legal ground is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries or, where relevant, taking steps at your request before membership or another agreement.

Membership through HelloAsso

The embedded membership form is supplied by HelloAsso. Form fields, member information, transaction data and any requested documents are collected on HelloAsso’s infrastructure.

Level One Esport receives the information required to administer membership and the association. Processing is based on performance of the membership agreement, compliance with legal obligations and, for optional communications, consent.

This website does not collect or store payment card details.

HelloAsso also processes some information for its own purposes and provides information during the transaction. Its privacy policy is available at:

https://info.helloasso.com/politique-de-confidentialite

Eliminate / LMN8 store

The website reads the public store catalogue to display product names, links and images.

Product images may be delivered by the provider’s servers, which receive the technical data required to send them, including the IP address and browser information.

Purchases take place on the Eliminate / LMN8 website and are governed by the information shown there. Level One Esport does not receive payment card details from that store.

Website administration

Authorised WordPress accounts may include a username, name, email address, role and connection or change logs.

This data is processed to administer and protect the website on the basis of the association’s legitimate interests.

  1. REQUIRED INFORMATION

The public website has no native contact form.

Mandatory information is identified within HelloAsso or other third-party forms. If it is not supplied, the requested membership, purchase or response may not be possible. Other fields are optional.

  1. RECIPIENTS

Where necessary, data may be accessed by:

  • authorised Level One Esport officers;
  • the website hosting provider;
  • technical maintenance providers;
  • HelloAsso for membership management;
  • competent authorities, courts or advisers where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims.

Eliminate / LMN8 handles store orders directly.

Level One Esport does not sell or rent personal data.

  1. RETENTION

Technical logs

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, with a target maximum of 12 months. This period must be confirmed and configured with the hosting provider.

General emails

Emails are kept until the request has been answered, then for up to 3 years after the last contact, unless evidence or a legal obligation requires longer retention.

Membership data

Membership data is kept for the membership period, then for up to 3 years after it ends.

Accounting records and supporting documents may be archived for up to 10 years where legally required.

Rights requests

Rights requests are kept while they are being handled, then in restricted archives for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance.

Administration accounts

Administration accounts are kept while access is authorised. They are deleted or anonymised after access ends, subject to any security logs that must be retained.

  1. COOKIES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In its current configuration, Level One Esport does not install analytics, advertising pixels or social-media widgets.

WordPress may use cookies strictly necessary for administration, security or remembering a choice. Links to social networks do not by themselves place those platforms’ cookies on the Level One Esport website.

When the HelloAsso form is displayed, content is loaded from helloasso.com. HelloAsso may receive technical data and use its own cookies or trackers.

Before launch, the association must verify the actual tracker list and collect prior consent for any non-essential tracker. No non-essential tracker should be enabled before that choice.

  1. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some third-party providers may process data outside the European Economic Area.

Where applicable, transfers must rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Before publication, the association must confirm the contractual hosting location and each provider’s safeguards. These safeguards are also described in the providers’ own privacy policies.

  1. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on the processing concerned, you may request:

  • access to your personal data;
  • rectification;
  • erasure;
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability;
  • or object to processing based on legitimate interests.

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on it, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, email:

contact@l1esport.fr

or write to:

Level One Esport (L1)
8 rue Saint-Vénuste
34300 Agde
France

State the right and data concerned. Proof of identity will be requested only if there is reasonable doubt about your identity.

You may also contact HelloAsso or Eliminate / LMN8 regarding data they process for their own purposes.

You may lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés:

https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes

  1. SECURITY

The association uses measures proportionate to the risks, including named and limited access, strong passwords, updates, backups, HTTPS and restricted administration rights.

No service can guarantee absolute security. Where required by law, affected individuals and the competent authority will be notified of a security incident presenting a risk.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website, providers or applicable law.

The date at the top identifies the latest version. Any material change will be notified through an appropriate method.
